Rapidan TU Fishing Class at Willowsford June 2025

Join Rapidan TU and the Willowsford Conservancy for a fun-filled evening where we’ll share the joys of fishing with kids and families from the Willowsford community. This event is the first of two special gatherings designed to inspire and educate. We’ll kick things off with a brief introduction to our chapter, a hands-on demo on using spin cast and fly rods, and a few quick tips on responsible fish handling. Then it’s off to the pond for an evening of fishing and fun!
We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help make the event a splash:
- Set up and prep before the event
- Show off your fish handling know-how
- Chat with curious parents and excited kids
- Safely return caught fish to the water
- Wrap things up with clean-up after the fun winds down
- Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just love helping others learn, we’d love to have you on board.
