Rapidan Trout Unlimited Chapter Meeting

Our next Rapidan TU chapter meeting will be held on November 5th beginning at 7:00 PM.

This meetings presentation will feature a fantastic discussion by one of our own members Joe Kelly. The subject will be a recent trip to Alaska by a large group of anglers. The film is produced by GTB productions (Geriatric Trout Bums) in Fredericksburg, VA.

Pre-Meeting Fly Tying with Andy

Before the meeting starting at 5:30 PM at the PATH building, you’re invited to join Andy for a hands-on fly-tying session featuring the Bi-Visible — a simple yet highly effective dry fly pattern.

If you plan to participate, please bring:

• A fly tying vice
• Black or brown thread (size 6/0 or 8/0)
• Brown and cream dry fly hackles matched to hook sizes 10 through 18

Club Business & Leadership Opportunities

After our guest speaker presentation, we’ll be discussing several ways members can take an active role in chapter leadership. Current openings include:

• Fundraising Chair
• Community Engagement Chair
• Communications / Social Media Chair

We will also begin discussion on the upcoming Fishing Show in February.
