Fishing the Green Drake hatch for Brook Trout on Dry River

Join Andy H for the annual Green Drake hatch, fishing for Brook Trout on the historic Dry River in the scenic George Washington National Forest.  If you are available on this date, this is one event you do not want to miss.  The green drake is known for its large size and numbers so bring your size 10 and 12 Green Drake patterns with an emphasis on dry fly fishing but prepare accordingly to fish all levels of the stream as many of the may flies, caddis and stone flies will be in peak season.

Directions to the location: Travel approximately 5 miles west of Rawley Springs, VA on Route 33 / Rawley Pike.  The parking area will appear on the right-hand side of the street near the Dry River Road sign.
